Most food gifts ship to someone else. Wrapped wraps the whole order as one gift, prices the box by what goes in it, and puts the note where the packer reads it.

One gift option, one note, and one fee for everything in the cart. The box is priced by what the customer puts in it.
- Per gift box, by count. Charge one box for every six jars or bottles, and the fee follows the cart.
- Per gift box, by weight. For hampers, charge by the weight one box can hold.
- Or one flat fee. One price for the order, however big it is.
The note lands with the packer
To, From, and the message sit on the order and in the order note. The card goes in the box, not in a cart note somebody has to find.
- On the order. The gift option, To, From, and message show on the order the packer is already reading.
- In the order note. A gift summary lists each gift with its message, in a layout you can edit.
- Read by your tools. Packing slip apps and 3PL exports pick the details up where they already look.
Gifting for the orders that leave the shop
Decide who sees gifting and where, and change it any time from the app.
- Shipped, not picked up. At checkout on Shopify Plus, offer gifting on shipped orders, on pickup orders, or both.
- Retail, not wholesale. Hide gifting from wholesale customers and in markets where you do not sell the box.
- Corporate gifting on tap. Make the box free over a cart total, or free for customers with a tag you choose.

Can I charge one box for every six bottles?
Yes. Gifting for Orders can price per gift box by item count. Set how many items fit one box, and the fee follows the cart.
Can a hamper be priced by weight?
Yes. Set the weight one box holds, and the order is charged for as many boxes as its weight needs.
Can the message be free and the box paid?
Yes. With gift choices optional, customers write the note for free and tick to add a paid box.
Can I turn gifting off for local pickup?
At checkout on Shopify Plus, yes: offer gifting on shipped orders, on pickup orders, or both. On every plan, display rules hide gifting by product, collection, tag, customer, and market.
Does the note reach my 3PL?
Yes. Gift details sit on the Shopify order where packing slip apps and 3PL exports read them, and you can rename each field to match your 3PL's import.
